In the occasion of its lauching in 1948, even considering its advanced
scientific technological concept which arose an enormous array of
pratical applications, in the beginning, TRANSISTOR was slow appretiate
by the electronic industry still confident in the thermionic valve
as its utmost versatile component, in spite of its several handicap
such as: fragility, expensive machinery for the manufacturing of
its complex mechanical parts and so forth. Fig 269
Therefore, in the early fifties, since the invention of the point
contact TRANSISTOR, has resulted in both acceleration and expansion
of its development activity. For historical allocation purpose the
steps of such evolution can be evaluated considering the following
